Dermal Fillers
What are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal Fillers (DF) are small injections of gel generally made of Hyaluronic acid, a natural component of the skin connective tissue. Other products that can be used in this procedure are Calcium Hydroxylapatite (Radiesse®) and Poly-L-Lactic Acid (Sculptra®).

Dermal fillers are resorbable and considered to be safe as long as they are injected correctly by an experienced doctor or a certified practitioner.

Dermal Fillers (DFs) are used to add volume to soft tissue for a youthful and smoother look.
DFs are used to restore facial contour, fill wrinkles, add fullness to areas that have lost volume typical in skin aging and plumping lips.
DFs can also be used to improve the appearance of skin imperfections such as scars.

You will be able to your normal activities immediately after the treatment. But it is recommended to take the day off from physical exercise following the procedure.

After the treatment, patients might experience some temporary mild redness, bruising and swelling at the injection site.
How does the treatment work?

During your consultation you will inform Dr. Sleiter of
the areas of concern and he will establish with his professional advice the best procedure and type of product to satisfy your requests.

Patients will be informed of the realistic expectations of what the procedure can achieve.
